Outfit: Roadside Roses

Growing up on a small private road, I did a lot of exploring as a kid. One of my favorite things to do was wander around the woods and ride my bike all around the dirt roads behind my house. This always led me to the end of the road, where there were these big rose bushes. I've always admired that area and the country feel of it. Now, it's a big garden with crops and different flowers. There were a couple of roses, too!

When I first got this dress, the straps were totally falling off me! Now that my boobs have grown almost a full size (so weird!) and I've gained almost 10 pounds, it fits a lot better. So maybe I won't take it in until all this growing is over with! The tights are one of my new favorite things in my closet, since I've been dying for a pair of over-the-knee socks but have had totally bad luck on that.

Outfit: Tomato Tree

Corey and I were driving around, scouting places to take pictures and found this gorgeous tree at the end of a dirt road. It seriously looked like tiny tomatoes were growing on the tree! I love it, haha. I keep thinking of taking pictures of my "bump", but it just seems weird because it's not an actual pregnant belly, it's just the result of eating lots of food for the past few months!

This is just a casual outfit I throw on when I'm going to run errands or hang out with friends. I got these jeans from Target for like $20 and they're seriously perfect. I had to size up a few weeks ago, and these are so comfortable and stretchy! The only downside is that they don't have front pockets, but I can live with that.

Outfit: Apple Pickin'

Last week, I posted some pictures of our time spent at the apple orchard, but I wanted to save the outfit pictures for a different post! I got this dress from Target for like $8 and I love it! Only problem is that I'm not fitting in to a lot of my clothes now and have to opt for more flowy things. I improvised this day for the sake of looking cute and wore my dress unzipped. ;)

I just realized that I'm wearing all primary colors in one outfit- which is probably why I love this outfit so much! I think aside from black, the primary colors are my favorite.

Outfit: Land of Savages

If you follow me in Instagram, you might have noticed I got a new 'do! I've been thinking about getting Bettie bangs for a while now, and I finally decided to go for it. After a couple of days, I got used to them and I'm so glad I finally did it. Now the Emma Stone comparisons have switched to Katy Perry, which I like a little better but don't think I resemble either!

I really wish I had gotten a back detail of this dress because I love it! I got this dress for ten dollars at Target, and while I really dig the style and fit, it's kind of annoying to wear. The buttons always come undone. I wore this to work yesterday and every time I carried products to the front of the salon, I noticed my top button was undone. Even more embarrassing, I was talking with a client for almost ten minutes completely unaware!

Outfit: Polka Flower

These are some of the best shorts I've ever had. They're high waisted, they have polka dots, AND they fit perfectly! You know when shorts just ride up in the back? These have a long, thick hem that keeps them in place when you're out and about.

I really hate the way these pictures turned out. I try to take them in new places and try to do different things, but lately I guess I just haven't really felt into taking pictures of myself. I've been down for the past couple of weeks, and while I really wanted to take part in the A Beautiful Mess self-portrait challenge, it sounds like a drag most of the time. I suppose I could get creative and try to capture that?

I don't want to whine on here all the time, and while there's all this talk of being "fake" on blogs I just feel like I don't want to burden my readers with negative thoughts. Especially when I can't put them into words or end on an optimistic note. Sorry for the lack of effort in my posts lately. Things are about to start looking up, though!
